So I've just upgraded from my Mavic Mini to the Mini 2. Generally happy but there is one pretty major issue which is the horizon won't stay level. I have performed a left to right moving shot and a panorama and on both the horizon is noticebly tilted in different directions depending on what direction the drone is facing. I wondered if it was due to wind, but the panorama was taken on a still day. I have performed compass and automatic gimbal calibration. Manual gimbal correction wouldn't work as the tilt isn't consistent and I didn't do an IMU calibration as I read somewhere that it can cause more issues than it fixes.

Any advice? Should I send it back for a replacement?

Hello there Slimypants. I am sorry for the trouble this has caused and thank you for reaching out. Before this issue happened on your DJI Mini 2. Was there a hard landing or a crash that happened? In addition can you please post a sample video showing the said issue for us to be able to see and assets you further? Thank you.

try changing gimbal mode from fpv to follow

Yet another error in the software ..

I've uploaded two videos showing the issue. In both, the horizon starts off tilted to the right, then by the end of the video it's tilted to the left. The video of the bridge was literally the first time I had flown it so no crashes or anything like that. And with it being brand new, the gimbal is still set to follow mode.

Try to check your gimbal setting: as  FPV mode the drone will lean when you turn it like an airplane. Set the Gimbal to Follow Me mode if not set there already! Then try again.

Yeah, it's in Follow mode thanks.

The software resides on the device, not the drone. Obviously the problem is with the drone. Most likely a hardware fault.

Funny you should ask. The store replaced it without question and the new one has been working flawlessly up till now. However I did take it out yesterday and had a similar issue with crooked horizons on a wide angle panorama and a gimbal stuck error. There were factors such as low light and gusty winds which may have contributed though so I'm not going to call it a fault yet, keep an eye on it and see if it occurs again.
