Hello there RecceGuy, my apologies this has caused you and thank you for reaching us out. Have you tried to uninstall and reboot your iPad then reinstall the application. Ensure as well that other applications that might running in the background are closed to use the DJI Go 4 app. Have your iPad Mini updated the software recently, would you be able to tell me if what is the current software does your iPad Mini running.
