I searched quite a lot on the internet for relevant info concerning compatibility between the new Mavic Mini 2 and the DJI Goggles Racing Edition. I couldn't find any.

So are they compatible? Do you recommend any articles or forum posts to read further?
BTW, I read in an article that the Mavic Air 2 is not compatible either with the DJI Goggles RE. Maybe things changed since they wrote that article? Do you know wnything about it? Here is the article The Mavic Air 2 doesn’t support DJI Goggles, which is a real shame

Also from my knowledge Mavic Air 2 also does not work with the DJI Goggles or DJI Goggles RE. Is it correct?

As of the moment the DJI Mini 2 is not compatible with any DJI Goggles and you are correct the DJI Mavic Air 2 is not compatible as well with any DJI Goggles as well. DJI Goggles RE (and the older white ones) use OcuSync 1 whereas Mini 2 and Air 2 use OcuSync 2.0 so I don't think they'll ever be compatible. FPV Goggles use a whole different system so those won't ever work either.

Nope, mavic 2 pro uses  ocusync 2 also and my RE goggles are compatible.

Wow, TIL ... I guess DJI needs to do a better job of updating their product descriptions.

DJI Goggles RE is about Ocusync 1.5. It is more than 1 but not 2. Because of Ocusync is a software based communication standard, DJI can make an update on both (drone+goggles) to make them compatible. There is cost for engineering but also They want to sell as much M2P as possible (Highest revenue per device on M2P). So they don't want to create an alternative in that point.

MM2 has very limited hardware capability because of size & heat. But MA2 seems very suitable to be supported by GogglesRE.

If you ask me, it will not be supported soon or probably later. There is many trouble on DJI these days. New regulations, US ban and some HW/SW issues on latest product MM2. Also there is real competitors like Autel, Skydio etc. M3P must have much more autonomous fly capabilities but there is no sign "DJI has been handled that" yet. To keep market share DJI should work on M3P too much. Otherwise can be a toy company.

All in all, i hope DJI makes surprise and give better support to their devices like MA2 support on GogglesRE. Regulations will be changing for many years. Drone is a new equation in new world. Sure there will be many competitors on the market. Better support will have the biggest share like Apple.

For all those with a DJI Mini 2 (or other DJI drone) that want to fly FPV / VR  and can't, check out the video below. I got hold of a MagiMask which displays a full-screen phone image in both eyes, so you can use DJI Fly or DJI Go in a VR headset.
All you'll need is the mask and a data cable from the controller to the phone. It's amazing!

Use A/V out using wifi miracast dongle and have it with a power supply and you can use MA2 Mavic MINI or.any DJI Drone with analog or dji fpv goggles! Have fun totally legal!

Will there be a firmware upgrade to the DJI goggles a very expensive piece of equipment so that it will work with the newer DJI drones. MA2S MINI 2 MAVIC 2
