I had a 7' external monitor connected to my RS2, and the cable management is god awful.  The HDMI cables are so thick that they can pull on the camera and compromise the balance of the camera.  If you pan hard with the stick, the cable may get yanked out.  Ive seen some DYI cable management systems but Im just not savvy enough to do that.  
I got the Raven Eye system and use it with my iphone and I love it.  No problem with small latency...but the problem is that the phone is small.  I want something larger, so I was thinking about getting Google Glasses or the DJI FPV goggles and connecting them to the Raven Eye through the wifi, just as I do with my iphone.  If I used one of these two FPV options, would I be seeing what the camera sees through the glasses, just like virtual reality?  Has anyone done it?  What is your experience?  Is this a ridiculous solution to my problem?

If I was you I would find a thin HDMI cable and grab some zip ties
