San Diego County Credit Union Stadium started life in 1967 as San Diego Stadium, in 1981 it's name was changed to Jack Murphy Stadium and that name held until 1997 when it's name was changed to Qualcomm Stadium and then one last time to SDCCU Staduim. The stadium was home to the San Diego Chargers, the San Diego Padres and the San Diego State University Aztecs footbal team and hosted 3 NFL Superbowls, two MLB All Star Games, numerous college bowl games, soccer matches, AMA Supercross Championships, Monster JAM and concerts throughout the years.The stadium is now in the process of being dismantled and in it's place will be a new stadium for the Aztecs.
