Welcome to Improve With Joe!

Today on the Improvement Journey I drove out to Charlotte with my drone to visit a few friends (I call it drone-tripping!). Had an amazing drive out there and back from Atl (total of about 500 miles round trip) and had a few great drone flights!

- Flight By Stone Summit in Atl - NE Atl location
-  Flight at the GA/SC state line rest stop
- Flight by a church outside of Charlotte
- Flight at Lake Hartwell on Old Dobbins Bridge Rd/State Rd S-4-23


Lesson Re-learned from the trip - have no expectations! Be yourself. Be passionate, genuine, and work toward your dream day by day til you can achieve it. You never know what you're capable of until you try! And if you fail...try try again.

(Oh and yes - I almost lost the drone yet again when it didn't "shut off" by flipping it over... going to go ahead and agree with Potatojet that its not the official way of turning it off XD)

PS, you might want to watch out when taking off from a metal surface (not sure if that is metal, but  if so, it will affect the compass)

Good point about the metal locations interfering with the compass - I think there was enough surround it not to interfere but def noted if I every take off from a metal platform.
