The Kinder Trespass of 1932 is well documented, when a group of protestors walked and climbed to Kinder Scout to claim the rights of ramblers to roam on common and uncultivated land. One group started from Bowden Bridge, and despite scuffles with gamekeepers, were able to meet other groups at the summit. A great circular walk these days would take you past Kinder Reservoir ( of which I posted some shots the other day) up beyond Charged Rock to Kinder Downfall, looking back into the valley and Mermaid's Pool. Then continuing clockwise on to the Scout. Ever further takes you to Kinder Trig Point and Jacob's Ladder, before dog-legging back to the start point.
This series of shots is a continuation of the clockwise rotation from the reservoirs to the North-east of the viewpoint, to just south of East, taking in as much of the area as possible as the sun was starting to set.
