For that currently own the Mavic Mini, are you planning on upgrading it to the Mini 2 or keeping it?

Not the upgrade i need, the 2.7K is fine, and i get 1.1 miles, and thats as far as you can see the drone. Occusync is real nice, but.... no, not worth the extra $ for me. If there was OA and Hyperlapse, Waypoint, and Active track, then yes, but that is too much to ask.

I lose sight about 1 Mile away, flying at 350 feet.

Nope eyes. My drone is still going strong, i dont get this bad range talk at all.

To be clear - are you telling me that you can physically see your Mavic Mini one-mile away with your naked eye from where you are stood flying it - thats 5,280 feet?

Does one that powerful take the weight to over 250g? I guess you have registered then with the FAA.

But weight for the FAA - if the take off weight exceeds 250g you need to register the drone right (or yourself to fly it)?

Cool! See you can see the drone with a strobe on 4,000 feet away but having to put the strobe on means you have to register yourself with the FAA to fly it as the take off weight of the Mini exceeds 250g with it on.

Being under 250g was the main reason I bought the Mini 2.

For sure - if you don't own a Mini 1 or 2 now then the 2 is the obvious choice
