Beware when flying your drone on Active track mode, the Air 2 does not have side sensors and will crash. I found this on YouTube.

If the people would have read the manual carefully, these cases could have been avoided.

I saw this video recently also.  It appears that almost all the crashes are poor judgement of the surroundings for using a feature like Active Track.

You have to be very careful with the activetrack.
Is there a type cage like the mini or good propeller protections of this type for MA2? It would be good protection when using activetrack.

I would never use them personally.  But happened to see them a few days ago online.

True, and this will mostly happen to guys who think their drones have 360 deg sensing

I had a close call also a while back. Watch at second 29 while a piling goes by fast. Oooops.

Some of those made me cringe, but darn near all of those were absolutely stupid to fly hands off in those conditions.
I've flown my Mini within a foot of a radio tower, but I was just a few feet away and watching REALLY closely.

That's something else I won't be trying

why not have both?  that way the dji drone pilot can stop worrying about following and active tracking and other useless features because that job is completely fulfilled elsewhere with a different drone.  after watching that video, i can guarantee you the skydio2 would never have crashed in ANY of the situations shown.  the fact that we still accept these crashes and blame them is laughable.  give it a few years, you'll see.

I used my active track a lot but even with the zoom having side sensors I do not use it near trees or buildings, always in open areas
