I thought so too - he always gives an honest account of the product though can be frustrating to watch sometimes when he doesn't understand something - such as the fact the Mini 2 can record QuickShots in 4K...

Hopefully. I would say he is the only one that does push these crafts to their limits but maybe flies it first as a test run then posts the video up.

He definitely does that... He sometimes shows his flight records by accident and the actual dates are days (even a week) behind the date of the video being published - clearly not a first flight. I remember he did it on his "first test flight" with another drone and had already flown the drone 3 or 4 times.

Yeah, like he also spent about ten minutes testing precision landing on the Mini 2 and got frustrated that it wasn't working - the Mini 2 does not have precision landing...

If these people just spent half an hour reading the manual or did some basic research of their own then it would save them embarrassing themselves and worse, giving out misinformation on a product to tens of thousands to potentially millions of people (his Mini 1 review was watched by 2.7m) - some of whom may not buy the drone based on that incorrect info. I can pick out several inaccuracies in this vid in addition to precision landing and 4K QuickShots.

That said, I do like his pragmatic approach in his vids and he is one of a small number who can post an hour long vid and I'll watch the lot!

Dustin buys all of his drones - due to his honest account of the product I believe DJI don't send him pre production models - despite over 200K subs
