I never heard of him,  but it looks like he at least spend some time with the new P2 and it feels genuine.

It did cross my mind, but I think I like the wider view and the optimized algorithms will serve me better with the P2.

Me too.
I do have a habit of buying older gear that is cheaper and has proven itself.
Like my D750, which I just bought a couple of months ago rather cheap.
But the P2 seems like a better candidate for me.

As I recall it from seeing this a few days back, he has an example of slow motion which is about the most worthwhile I have ever seen, not being much of a fan of this overused technique - young lady with long blond hair doing hypnotic things with it.  Well, I guess I'm easily hypnotised.

I was lucky.
Amazon probably wanted to get rid of some D750 stock, so I could buy one brand new for € 990,-
It was ridiculously cheap but I took advantage of it.

Nice to be that lucky every now and then.
The only thing that is noticeable, is that the battery wears out a tiny bit quicker because it has been sitting in a warehouse for a longer period probably.
So I use it as my spare.

I just put a new battery in my Mac Book Air and it took me 24 hours to get it to drain so I could calibrate it,  I was amazed what a new battery is like.

I never got my new battery to work in a Windows (asus) laptop.
I think there is something wrong with the charging mechanism of the laptop.

Perfect for keeping with a 3d printer though, I have a dedicated laptop for mine which battery isn't great.

I agree 100%.  Not only was it in-depth but I perceived it to be a very honest review.  The reviews I tend to be leery about are the ones that are compensated as the reviewer rarely says anything negative in them.
