Yes, it makes a lot of difference if you use a gimbal or not on your shots. Just like in the start of the video, I too, tried shooting shots barehanded and compared it to a gimbal. To no surprise, the difference was massive. Mechanical stabiizaion is so much better than EIS in my opinion as you can retain so much more detail in your shots.

So If you are thinking if you should get one... you definitely should. Now, The RS2 is something that I would highly recommend. It is very well-built that it is hard to recommend other brands as well. For phones, you also have gadgets like to OM4, so those who primarily shoot using mobile phones can take advantage of mechanical stabilization, too.
