Hi -
I performed the balancing described in the manual and in online video to balance an EOS R5 with RF 24-105mm f/4L IS, about 3.3 pounds, around half the RSC2's rated capacity. Next I got the gimbal to connect with the Ronin app on my iPhone 11 running iOS 14.2. I've run calibration / Auto Tune, and the app says autotune was successful. It also passes the balance test.

Yet when I try tilting the gimbal / camera forward beyond maybe 20 degrees, the camera tilts down and doesn't remain level.

The camera remains relatively level when I tilt the gimbal side to side, but it doesn't work very smoothly that way either.

Gimbal is set to PTF mode, Med speed.

*** What am I doing wrong? What setting(s) have I missed? ***

Thanks for any help.

OK, I figured out the gimbal needed to be in PF mode to avoid tilting forward when I tilted it. How does anybody keep the QR riser on the camera from twisting other than tightening the s#1t out of it?
