Hi Blériot53, Montfrooij is correct,
In a nice shot like yours, the need is to bracket exposure. Even the best of cameras and sensors will struggle with a shot like that. The normal bracket should be between three and nine shots. Example of three might be -2EV 0EV +2EV, and then merge them together. I use a stand alone program called Photomatix, but there are others, including but not limited to, a program such as Lightroom. Once you do and experience this you will say Wow! Most dedicated photo cameras have built-in bracketing, and some even have built-in merging for the final result. But, it can be done on any camera setting the EV (+/-) manually (then, just need a program to merge them).
