A stroll through the Torrs this sunny late-autumn morning, whilst the frost was still biting, led me over this remarkable structure linking the Sett Valley trail to the lower reaches of the Goyt valley.  The DJI Pocket 2 came along for another trial run.

These are great shots and a lovely place for a walk. I spotted the dedication at the entrance, very sad, he must have been very well thought of.

Yes, I wondered if they might re-name it Stan Brewster Way, but nothing ever came of it.

When I got the Mini in France back in April, you may remember she had a few goes with that?  Happily, first enthusiasm has waned on that front.  I'm not sure about the Pocket though - she's showing a keen interest.....

I think the idea was mooted at the time - which led to the erection of the plaque in his honour.

You're welcome Blériot.  I still have the original Pocket.  I gave my Mavic Mini to my grandson and he flies it almost daily.  He has been eyeing my Pocket for school photo projects so I might end up passing that to him as well.  I really like the MA2 but contemplating an upgrade to the Mavic 3 (if it ever comes out) especially if one comes out with performance upgrades over the M2Z.  AJ had me really tempted to get the Mini 2 but I'm thinking something a bit bigger and better zoom capabilities.

I might just give myself a Christmas gift of the Pocket 2 and then see what the new year holds for a M3.

You are 100% correct on that statement.  DJI seems to always come up with something newer and better (and usually more expensive).
