Hi Everyone, I am not sure if i am posting in the right place.I am going insane for the past coiple of weeks researching and many batteries later trying to update my phantom 4 Pro
I think i tried everything i can myself,
Different computers, leads etc
tried go app and Dji assist many times.
on the Assist it only goes to 36 % or 56 % and freezes with Err 0x02040003
on go app it Stops at 99% on Main Gimbal Controller Update
This Quad was never crashed.


Please can anyone help me

0x02040003 usually means a hardware module didnt reply to the upgrade,  you should be able to look at the upgrade log file to see which device is not responding.

Thank you.. i am only guessing it could possibly be a ribbon cable or something lol
Is that a .dat file i upload..
Are they encrypted. I cant open

Sounds like. good place to start looking for any damage.

Can you please try to download the DJI Assistant 2 from this DJI link ( https://www.dji.com/downloads/so ... t-dji-2-for-phantom ) once again and try to update your DJI Phantom 4 Pro to see if the issue will still persist? It Have Never been crashed... i flew it and all was perfect then 6 months later i tried to fly but had no display from camera... said i needed update.. but i have been trying to update for 3 weeks now..
I used different laptops, cables, cards, different phones for DJI app.
This is the error i get 0x022403

Just wondering if you found a solution for this issue, snapper35mm?

I am getting the same errors when I try to update the firmware on my Phantom 4 using DJI Assistant 2.  My logs look just like yours where it says "Gimbal303 (4 :0) device no reply, request timeout!" and the firmware updates always fail for me at 55% or 36%.

This has been a very frustrating problem to try to fix so any help would be much appreciated.

Sorry you are going through the same.
Frustrating isnt the word for it
Still no answer..
I just parked it up..
Dji asked me to send it back but never did..
I had alot going on and it went out of my head..
I am going to send it to a guy i happened to find online yesterday in ireland.
If i find out what it is i will certainty get back to you..

You're right that "frustrating" is an understatement when it comes to this issue!

I would certainly be interested to know what you find out when you hear back from the guy that you sent your P4 Pro to.

My P4 is just sitting on shelf for now :-(
