I have just received my Mini 2 Combo, bought online from store.dji.com, along with its 2-year Care Refresh plan.
I went through the process of updating the firmware and activating the drone, after which the app reminds me to activate the Care Refresh plan within 48 hours.
I dismissed the message, as I read on the website that the Care Refresh plan bought online is already bound with its drone; however, upon checking on service.dji.com/djicare/coverage, the serial number appears invalid. The following message appears:
The serial number you entered is invalid. Please check and try again. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact DJI Support.
I have contacted the support, not long ago, and the guy told me that my request has been escalated to the team, and that I should check again tomorrow if the Care Refresh is bound to the serial number of my drone.
But I am still concerned that the drone or the Care Refresh didn't activate properly, and that there are only 48 hours to bind them. Note that the invoice for the Care Refresh 2-year plan is available in my orders info, but I haven't received any emails to confirm its activation.
Anyone can clear this up?
