Can someone please tell me:
Once I have gone from the flight screen and into settings. how do I get back to flight mode? There doesn't see to be a back or return button

Tap the screen outside of the settings box

Thanks to all, I had thought the screen was full sized with no area outside of it to tap but there is a slither of flight screen that I can just manage to open
