Aloha ABI,

     Nice shot!  Oddly enough, turkeys are found on the island of Lanai over here in Hawai'i.  The moss in the photo is also found here and is called "Pele's Hair".  So, in theory we might find a similar photo over here of turkeys in Pele's hair!

Don't be fooled. That turkey buzzard (not a real turkey) is reading our posts and knows that Mini to his right is destined to crash anytime and he is patiently waiting to pounce on it when that happens ;-)

Thank you, they're one of the most frequent creatures that comes to visit. Often I see them riding the thermals around and just following the flow.

Tell me about it, I'm always cautions when it comes to flying around them, they're only about 40x bigger then the drone lol.

I have some videos I need to put together, I've flown with them, followed them, buzzed them in the tree's, they don't mind the mini and often ignore it. The birds that have darted at it but never attacking it has been the Crows and Hawks, for the most part they leave it alone but I'm always watching to make sure I'm not about to be dive bombed.

You joke, but I had one of those guys swoop my little Mini in late August.  It came out of nowhere.
