Unfourtenately FPV doesn't work when holding the camera flat like shown in the movie. Would it be possible to improve on that ?

Lovely! Hope that you'll occasionally share more videos of your layout so that we can see how you are progressing. I also suspect that there'll be more such videos of other big model railroad layouts. The Pockets are highly suited for this task

The pocket would need some Sw modification to be usable. It should not try compensate when the devices. (Follow mode fast is too slow), then it would be perfect.

This application is a justifiable reason to have a gimbal “lock” mode which is a mechanical lock rather than a subject view lock mode we have now.
