A walk out of the valley onto the hills to the south this morning, gave me an opportunity to point the Pocket2
here and there for a series of random images. All have been scaled down to 1920x1080 to pass through the
DJI Filter.

Hi AJ. Yes, the entire morning out in the fresh air. A chilly start but the sun came out.  I did some video with the Pocket2 but I'm underwhelmed with the results I achieved, to be frank. More practice needed - and perhaps a monopole, rather than a tripod, to support the device on. I don't have the steadiest of hands for filming.

Looks like it indeed.
I won't tell my uncle about it, otherwise he won't stop asking me to get one before I do
But this is in fact another nice way to use a P2 that I will try out one day!

That is another great way to use the P2 I think.
They used to have some tripod for Osmo Mobile with suction pads just for this!

I've noticed that the P2 works when upside down, so I might try fixing it to the passenger sunvisor for a first attempt - strong elastic bands would do. I may have to give the windscreen a thorough clean inside and out first though

You can probably use it because it has a standard tripod connection .
I bought the articulating arm for my OM1  and it was a great product.
Although the OM1 got a bit top heavy and was shaking in the car.

The biggest issue is reflections indeed.
Drive away from the sun is the only way to get any decent footage at all.
But it looks like you already found a DIY way that might work well!

They will have multiple gyroscopes to detect this I guess.
(since they will have that installed for the gimbal)

Most certainly is.
It gives great results.
Especially when you don't drive too fast and have some wide landscape.
I use my iPhone with timelapses for holiday movies
