I have been watching quite a few of Casey Faris videos on editing with Davinci 16-17, he does a wicked job of keeping you interested and has a unique skill in learning you, along with the odd quirky/funny moments, the guy's a genius with Davinci.

Casey is wonderful and highly detailed.  Note (however) that 17 is still in Beta.  V.16 should be enough to get started on.
