A new footbridge over the river Sett was opened recently. This image began as a panorama of 9 shots (3x3) with the P2.
I selected 4x3 shooting rather the 16x9.  Stitching was done with M/Soft ICE program, selecting Perspective cropping.
Finally zooming in to the point where the extremities of the resulting image were not distorted, and cropping.
A little retouching, and scaling, with G.I.M.P. gave this result.
Quite a lot of effort for what I suspect may have been more easily achieved with one wide-angle single shot.
The time of day was almost dusk - very gloomy in the gorge. So it seems to have turned out quite well.

Thanks RDB. It was very gloomy at the time of the shot so I was surprised how well the P2 performed in low light conditions.

Here it is starting to look better.
But I will take some time with the fam. instead of flying.

I find the 3 x 3 format shows at it's best from a higher viewpoint - roughly half way of the full depth of the image.  That way it takes in the lower levels all the way to the top.
It's wasted on ground level shots.

I've tried the 180 degree pano, which takes 4 shots to combine. But that imparts a curvature from the POV.

Without question the P2 outperforms OP with respect to low light conditions.

It's the first H/held gimbal camera I've owned so I have no comparison. But it's pretty good.

I think DJI treated OP like a beta test for the P2.  Since the market appeared to be so good for such a small handheld gimbal camera they made a few nice upgrades and rebranded it as a P2.  Great idea from a corporate profit perspective.
