M2P less than 15 flights on drone after recent flight after storage gives Processor overheat warning on startup , fan sounds different, after 1-2 minutes fan sound changes and error goes away.
is it possible fan is not turning or stuck?
Hi, Desolation. Thanks for reaching out and we're sorry to read about the difficulties you're encountering. Do you recall what's the temperature during the time of your previous flight and if the aircraft was placed on a flat surface? After you have encountered the overheating warning, have you tried testing it again, and was the same exact scenario occur? If you could add more details, we highly appreciate it. Looking forward to your response.

Temperature 55F / 13C. This was on startup straight out of the carrying case. Drone on a flat surface using extended landing legs from Pygtech elevates drone about 1.5 in/3.8cm. The surface was a wooden picnic table. Drone is still giving this error on subsequent startups, the fan doesn't sound right

Can you hear the fan running?
Usual cause of this is the fan is blocked by something. Its quite easy to take apart and clean up.
Instead of the fan sound is a high pitch whine, if I take apart will it void the warranty?

Thanks for the update. In the meantime, we suggest to refresh or have your firmware updated via the DJI Assistant 2. Should the same problem persists, please export the Flight Records folder from the DJI GO 4 and have them uploaded to either DropBox or GoogleDrive. They can be viewed by connecting your phone to your computer.
For Android, check the Internal Storage\DJI\dji.go.v4\FlightRecords file path, and for iOS, open iTunes > File Sharing > DJI GO 4 > FlightRecords.
