Well I can beat that. 2 days ago I did hit a power cable (or some type of cable). I sent the drone off to shoot some wind turbines from my spot along the highway, but took too long to get the footage. After a few warnings, the battery was eventually causing a forced landing. So I was fighting the drone to get back to the highway or at least along a road so it wouldn't be on wind farm property. I didn't even see the light colored cables until I was right on them. It's easy to see them in the video now, but not on my small phone with daylight glare. I tried to squeeze through but clipped one cable.
Luckily the drone recovered and I fought with it again to get back to the highway. I missed by about 30 feet, but managed to put it down just off another road nearby.
I've had a couple of those forced landings. I just have to stop being stubborn and bring the drone back at first warning.

And I thought that I was lucky with the Mini 2.
Congratulations, because you really won the lottery.
You are absolutely right. My phone is a Samsung S8+ and it is almost impossible to see them.
Check the video of DGCA3. That was really lucky because his Mini 2 hit the power lines.
Have safe flights!

While it may look silly, wearing one of those VR headsets would probably be beneficial for seeing more detail (and no screen glare). But I don't think you can use those with the Mini 2.

Yes, it is a great idea.
I read some articles and there are some ways to connect VR googles, however, using some tricks but nothing stable.
Have excellent flights!

There are some equipments for testing, home made, but nothing assured, I think...

This a great reminder for everyone to be extra careful when flying in low visibility situations. Thank you for posting.
