Certainly does - it depends on the price compared to the Autel & Parrot

Still no mention of CE certification

Its too heavy to meet the CE requirements,  and probably too fast although that could be fixed in software.

Yes, but so too was the marketing fluff around M2ED when they rolled it out.  A lot of folks invested and we all discovered that what was, has been delivered, is NOT AT ALL, what the DJI marketing team presented.

Read the FAQS closely, you'll see a number of interesting limitations, and it looks as if there is no path forward for M2ED owners that are still waiting on the original features that were promised.  Why would anyone invest in this one, until after it's out in the wild and folks see whether it can deliver to the hype.

Too heavy for C1 but not C2 certification.

As standard it would be too fast for that category I believe.

true, it can be either c1 or c2, actually for this kind operations, it would be better to be in c2.  also depends from tom vs mtom mass, attached accessories etc . tom of mavic2 is under 900g for sure, but new eu directive is specified c classes by mtom, i think.

Lets hope they allow retrospective certification.

I have not read about that so far (not really in the market for this type of drone)

A new mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced was presented by DJI price around 6000$ withhout RTK Modul. / Preis 6500.- € ohne RTK Modul.

https://www.dji.com/de/mavic-2-enterprise-advanced/specs

Will DJI offer a fair hardware upgrade for owners of a Mavic 2 Enterprise dual? In principle it is the same Mavic 2 with a much improved camera. And an optional RTK module attachment. To be honest, the previous Flier camera, the mavic 2 Enterprise dual, was really unsuitable for many applications because of its low resolution. It was really saved at the wrong end. This is now changing.

So same bird as well as same spec's, but better dual camera?  So less the addtional charge for the "optional" RTK add-on of course, then we're now apples to apples @ an estimated  **$6000(M2EDA) - $2700(M2ED) = $3300 for the camera upgrade? Hmmmmm, don't think I'll go there.

$2700 (M2ED)  -  *$1000(160x120 core) - $200 (1/2.3" cmos)   =  $1500 (Bird price)

$3200 (Flir boson 640x512 12um VOx core)  + $300 (1/2" cmos) + $1500 (Bird price) = $5000 (Not $6000 or $????)

* Flir boson VOx 320 x 256 = $1300

** I was told over the phone yesterday by a "DJI enterprise partner dealer", he heard the "estimated cost of the M2EDA was around $7500 less the optional RTK" BUT, this was just that,  an estimate. BUT if it's true then $7500 - $2700 =  $4800 for a camera upgrade?

Nope.......

Also...........Looks like a RC is NOT included either, you have to already own or addtionally purchase the one and ONLY RC that flys it's.........A DJI "Smart Controller" for $750!!

BTW, I was quoted $6700 USD for a M2EA (Smart RC not included) on 12/29

So $6700(M2EA) + $750 (Smart RC) - $2700 (M2ED, included RC) = $4750 upcharge for the same spec'd M2ED with just with camera upgradea and a RC?...........NOPE!!

So is a (1) battery even included? Geeeesh
