Hi.    Today i'm trying to use spark to check my house roof.  With almost no wind and stady GPS signal (9). I start with around 1 meter high and spark out of control within a few second.
flying side way at high speed and crash in my neighbours land. Already synced the flight record. This is the second time it happen!

The 9 satellites are one more than the minimum. I’m not saying this is the cause of the problem, I’m just saying it’s too little for safety. Upload the flight log to app.airdata.com and there you can see in the notifications menu if there were any error messages ...or here: https://www.phantomhelp.com/logviewer/upload/

it seems a compass error
also i have the similar error from the previous flight.
basically i didn't have a successful flight for this year.
I have attached the log viewer result from this and previous flight. have compass error and yaw error

I guessed!
This is a very common mistake that my Spark also had, but the Spark was not damaged.
I had another typical bug that I managed to fix and I suspect the compass bug is also caused by the same problem.

I can take off. it won't up and down. Just as soon as it start off for few second suddenly fly to a random direction as high velocity.
from the log there is a consistent compass error.
luckily no none is hurt.

Hello there zsnow. I am sorry to read and to know what happened to your DJI Spark Since this unfortunate event happened and there was a crash on the said DJI Drone. It would be best to contact our DJI support team at https://www.dji.com/support for further assistance. If the said drone is still under the warranty period and it is evaluated as a non-pilot error, the warranty service will be provided. Again I am sorry for the trouble this has caused and thank you for your understanding.

I don't want to open it , I suspect it's the calib issue even though I have calib the drone. The compass interference is still high

Guessing and trying have been going on for years but no one could solve or explain this problem. It is completely independent of software and looks like magnetic objects as well. This phenomenon has occurred with old and newer firmware, before and after an upgrade. It occurred during smooth flight away from all metal objects and did not occur near metal objects and power lines.
There is no logic in the phenomenon. Likewise, there is no logic in the take off issue problem. Unsupported software solution, calibration. However, for those who disassembled and reassembled, it often improved. He drew the wrong conclusions, they didn’t think disassembly itself, moving the connectors, was what solved the problem. I solved the take off issue problem and since then there has been no compass error (and no other problems)
Contact-induced malfunctions will not be solved by many, many calibrations, many are beyond that. I read very, very many posts after all. Look for the term compass error and you will find that many people have tried many, many solutions with little real success.
If you don’t want to disassemble yourself, look for a phone repairman who is prepared to disassemble such devices and if you watch a video of disassembly, it will do it for you in 30 minutes.

Here's a link to "ifixit" ... These folks have been tearing down and rebuilding electronics since the first iPhone.  They have detailed videos and manuals AND tools to perform just about any repair on electronics.  This like is to the Spark, but spend some time 'wandering about' the IFIXIT website...  In their "search" field, enter DJI and you see nearly all of the DJI products, with videos, manuals, processes for repair available.    https://www.ifixit.com/Device/DJI_Spark
