I notice after the upgrade that they have introduced (didn't see this previously) with insufficient lighting and no GPS lock that it brings up a new warning. Handy to prevent accidents with Indoor flights.

It forces you to accept responsibility to continue.

Easy to bring up. Just start your mini 2 in a darkened room indoors and see that it locks the takeoff. Press the unable to takeoff warning and it takes you to the override screen.

It advises that the mini 2 will drift up to a 2 metre radius.

Stability of connection is a bit better with the update. I never had an issue with failure to take off myself. I saw a YouTube video about the color shift on DNG pano shots side to side. They asked DJI about it and DJI wrote back and said they are aware of it and hope to have the fix in an upcoming firmware release. That isn't a big deal compared to stability so I can see why they addressed that right away. Overall I really like my MINI 2. Seems they may have improved the gimble tracking also as it seems to keep the gimble spot on when moving quickly left and right compared to before the update when it would jerk a bit.

Where is the Hyperlapse Mode???

I've done a long range test right now and wow, the signal is suuuuper stable now.

I've been flying in an area where before I had some reconnection issues (2-4  times per flight) and now I didn't get a single one.

I guess I will consider updating. Thanks

Shall test it tomorrow and see what the different is...

Now I have updated the software, and it works well for me.
I don't see any abnormal behaviour, it works well and the transmission works good.

Problems with repeated requests to calibrate the IMU have not gone away. There is no straight movement in Sport and Standard modes.
It seems to have gotten even worse ...

You need to replace your unit...

No still lines on the left corner

I have noticed the lines in the left top corner in my 4k videos. I purchased the drone last week and installed the update before the first flight.  That is not good to happen.  Please fix this issue.

I have noticed that the battery discharges rapidly.  But unfortunately, I purchased mine last week and did the update right away.  So I can not able to compare it with before.

No, I installed this update right after I purchased my mini 2, and flight time is around 22-27 minutes

This is a very nice drone, and I have had much fun with it.
It is very capable for nice photo's and video's.
Now I go to work over the christmas holiday, and I can't confirm the new "issues" that the battery discharges rapidly unfortinally.
I hope this evenutally issue is a only "one singel user problem".

I flew the mini 2 during the day with no issues. Took a break to eat and tried to go back to flying. Fully charged battery, turn on the power to drone and controller and notice the update. I updated, restarted the drone and app. 19 satellites, takeoff. Decide to check RTH setting and as I am doing that the drone drifted left into a wall. Inspected it all is good. So I reset everything, IIMU, compass, reboot etc and tried again. 19 satellites, takeoff and didn’t take my eyes off it. Drifted left I corrected drifted again I corrected. It will not hover. I switched to my magic mini  updated that software and had the same issue. Anyone else have this problem. Is there a fix.

HELP PLEASE

The battery drain is gone terrible. I flew the same route in the same wind condtitions to test "Significantly improved the flying stability in environments with interference, bringing a better flying experience." I got 1000m less than the last firmware. I was at 24% battery after 13:16 flying time. The temperature on this day was also 3 degrees warmer than the last flight also and the batteries were warm from being in my pocket. This is not acceptable as the last firmware was great. On the RAW side of this there are still issues with DNG files also

@DJI modder: please do not eclipse battery drain issue with other problems. Please fix battery drain issue on top priority.

It wasn’t an issue before the recent update.

Yes, it's okay. And yes, such a charge do also count in the batterys charge counts, but not as one charge, as number of chargings are counts in other ways!

Today while using Fly 1.2.2 iOS I went to test RTH as I was intending to fly with the wind, when I initiated RTH even tho I had 24 - 25 satellites locked the Mini 2 advised Atti Mode! I tried this twice and on both occasions Atti Mode was advised (not sure if it actually went into Atti Mode because the AC seems stable).  Anybody else witness this bug?

Hey guys so i buy the mini 2 update and the gimbal give me the 40002 error and when the error disapear i try to fly with the drone and the gimbal is not "stable" its always shake... its really strange!

I will receive my mini 2 soon, I think I will wait and do some testing before updating

Do not update the battery is terrible and they are completely ignoring the complaints.

After the update I've been having issues with the app restarting whilst in mid flight, it just sort of blanks out the screen like its rebooting the app, has anyone else had these issues?

I've just finished installing the DJI Fly App onto a new tablet (Huawei MediaPad T5) and it advised me that new Aircraft firmware was available - it looks new, ver 01.02.0000.
It installed fine, but it's now dark so can't test to see if the smearing at the top left in the 4K video is fixed.

After FW update, I can no longer change camera settings. I press button above shutter and it just switches between pics and video now. Also cannot select pro shots (panoramic, etc) Did they change this?
