Bright sunshine was very low in the sky this wintry morning. Took the P2 onto the parapet of the road viaduct for a great viewpoint.

Thanks Daf.  Yes, the two rivers coming together at that point and tumbling over the weir can be spectacular when the flow is rapid - like now.  Noisy, too, when you're down there walking past.

At night, we can just hear it as a low rumble before nodding off to sleep, when the flow is high, as it is now.

On the subject of noise, I've noticed a curious thing about the P2.  When video-ing the weir the other day, I zoomed in on it - and the recorded sound volume increased too.  That's some clever programming in the software.

It's a nice feature. It must have been "on" by default, and I only noticed it when I played the video back.

When I zoomed in, it changed the mic configuration so that you heard more coming from the front. (it had a 4 way mic on top)
