What drone are you currently flying and why? Im still flying my mavic air 1. I thought of upgrading to the air 2, but decided not to. I personally don't have any problems with the wifi signal because i always fly in low interference areas anyway. I saw a video where someone got over 5km with the original mavic air in a low interference area, and probably could have gotten 6km if they hadn't returned because of low battery. I might upgrade when the air 3 comes out....love my mavic air. What drone are you using?

I have two Mini's, one Mini-2 and two MA2's. I use the MA2 the most but I also use the Mini a lot. Curiously so far I have not made a lot of use of the Mini-2. I specifically bought the MA2 and Mini-2 because of the 30+ minutes flight times. Lots of WiFi interference in my areas.

I bought my Mavic Pro (original) back in February 2019 from a friends son in law, never had a moments problem with it, the new regulations won't impact me too much as my wife's family are farmers so between them and friends I have quite a few hundred acres to fly.
I have no plans to buy another drone just to have the latest technology,
More than happy with the Mavic pro.

Im flying Mavic 2 Pro,  have no plans to upgrade.

My most trusted and reliable of all my drones is the MPII. I once flew 6.3 miles (around trip on one battery) over open water. Anxiety provoking but wanted to test the reliability. However I won't be doing that again lol. I fly mostly within LVOS.

MA2 and have access to a Spark and P3.
I really like the MA2, no issues.
I will be getting a MM2 from Santa but will return, I saw a video on another thread of the Sony, not much on it but enough to wait and see what they have to offer.

Thats quite a collection, looking forward to see what dji comes out with when they release the mavic 3 and mavic air 3

Isn't number 2 (air 2) suposed to have longer flight time thatn number 3 (pro alpine white)? Or is this a bit of false advertising from dji? Just curious

No, that was no comparison to the MA2. The white one is significantly quieter than the Standard Pro and flies about 5 minutes longer, rebuilt a bit ... otherwise a normal MP.

I just sold my DJI Mavic Air 2 and I'm currently own a DJI Mini 2 and a DJI FPV Drone. As soon the DJI Air 2S is released I will order it.

Mavic Mini 1 - weight, flight time, image quality, SDK
Mavic Air 1 - weight, WAYPOINTS !!!
Mavic Air 2 - Ocusync, SDK
Phantom 4 Pro - wind resistance



... and nothing else from DJI, due to their disastrous approach to customers
The next drones will be from Autel, Skydio, Sony ... and maybe Xiaomi

I only have the original Mavic Mini, so that is what I fly.  It was my first drone, and I quite enjoy it.  I have been sort of watching to see if / when DJI comes out with a Mavic 3 Pro and what it has.  With the recent information leaks about the Mavic Air 2S, that has some interest, but we'll see if I make that move...
There is a possibility that work may get a (most likely) Mini 2, and pay for my part 107 license, but that is still a "maybe"...

2 - 4 nearly retired due to age (almost 11 years ), weight and size, which will not really fit the new EU drone regulations.


And i will not buy the Air 2S.

Spark, mini 2, mavic 2 zoom, mavic air 1 with 4hawks, mavic air 2, and even still fly my phantom 2 vision plus!
I also have a bugs 3, walkera rodeo 150, traxxas aton, latraxx alias, and a phontom 2 vision "without" camera to just have fun with.

I have a Mavic Air 2, since I didn't want to dump the $$ for the Mavic 2 Pro as my first camera drone.  I'm happy with the performance, as I am just a hobbyist, and by no means a professional photographer.  I also have a little E-Max TinyHawk FPV quad.  Fun to fly around in the house, but any wind outside and it is a beast to try and fly against the wind.  Looking to expand into a freestyle FPV one of these days, since I enjoy flying the Tiny Hawk in the house, but have kind of out grown it at this point and looking for a new challenge.
