I don't have any experience using the Fly App to edit videos.  The majority of my experience is using iMovie, which is kind of limiting.
Who has used the Fly App and is willing to share BOTH the pro's and Con's.

Common... put down that holiday fruit cake (with the wine chaser) and lemme know if you think I should spend the time digging into the App edits.

From my experience, the quality of the Fly app is sub par compared to editing on a PC (Mac)
You need to work with the full sized files to get the most out of it.
I did try it once (because it is free)  but I missed my video editor too much.

My conclusion was :
Pro:
- Free
- Sounds easy with just one device.

Cons :
- Need to get the full sized files to your device.
- Quality of the output is not that good.
- Inconveniënt editing if you want a bit more than just drag the clips around.

If you want all mobile editing, there are better apps out there to work with.
Luma Fusion touch seems to be good (have not tried it, but I see good results here)

A big screen (iPad etc.) and lots of storage is adviced.

But only if you don't want / have a PC, otherwise I would stick to that
