I have to agree with you on this.  I had the same impression a few days back.  Might well be the holidays and other commitments.

Could be indeed.
Another reason I can think off is the bad weather causing some to fly less (myself included)
Or maybe because it was already some time ago that we had a new product. (usually that sparks the forum)
