Hopefully the flight tips can be deactivated, especially if the bird is airborne i want to see whats going on with it and not be bothered by any advertisements or similar.

And still no waypoints. DJI please work on waypoints instead of adding such useless funktions like fight tips.

Great new attitude indicator. Similar to GO4 App.

I see 1.2.2 is out for Apple products but not yet released for android.  Hopefully soon.  

Sounds good (indicator, new button option), not on googleplay in Europe yet as well.

it just shows up in hyperlapse mode and during RTH, so when you're basically not doing anything.

I know, but exactly at processes that run automatically i'd like to see whats going on and if needed to cancel and get manual control again.

Thats good, so any bugs that will show up for Apple users, can prevent Android users from installing a bugy version.

I had a flight today with the new app.
The customizable additions are what is noted.
The orientation arc on the bottom center of the screen is gone, no where to be found. I used to see it with the map reduced but nope, gone.
What and or where is the attitude indicator, nothing new on the screen and I have no idea where it’s located?
Anybody have a screen shot showing this indicator?

Go to profile in the app, settings, flight tips and you can disable.

This sounds wierd - DJI: New indicator added. Learn more about aircraft's orientation.
Users (Mavic Mini as well): Indicator is gone completely.
What the hell?
Android user so I can not judge.

It’s fine I was just struggling to find the indicator, click the lower right corner of the map (found it with the help of forum members -thank you to them).
Strange thing is it’s either or, map or indicator, not both like on go4.
There is a but, I was using the iPad to find the attitude indicator and not connected to the drone so maybe when connected you can see both map and indicator. Map was reduced because in full screen the lower right corner is a find my drone tab.
I have a lot more playing around with the app to do so I hope I’m not misleading.

Yes, it shoud be "new visual of information you had before. With additional roll indicator fused in the radar" (thanks to other members to make this clear). I have to wait for Android version of the app.

I guess it's payback time from the iOS users. Wasn't it 1 or 2 releases ago iOS users received the update 24-48 hours after android users received theirs? So now android users are having to wait.

Some times it is good not to be the first in a row.

I updated today the 12.2.2 to my I pad .
I flew it with two batteries , no glitches , no problems .
Well received the indicator and the customized fn button , but I trust the map than the indicator .

I flew two batteries today, a total of 4 flights and 13 miles, using the new DJI Fly app v1.2.2.  It worked flawlessly.  The new radar and map zoom is very clean and easy to understand.   

Given the unusually high winds today the indicator was at slant often due to the Mavic Air 2 fighting the wind, 18-25 mph, even at hover.  This was the first time I have received a high wind warning.  I probably over reacted and flew back over the ocean in Sport mode most of the way.  Then kick it back into Normal mode to where it preformed just fine.  As the flight was not in optimal conditions it was a good chance to test the app under non-ideal conditions.  

I do wish, on the radar that the controller indicator blue dot and controller direction arrow were more visible and not obstructed by the Home Point dot.  But moving 15ft to side made the controller indicator and arrow visible.

It's availble for Android as a side load at DJI download link.  Not sure why it's not in Play Store though....

not yet on Android thanks the beta testers iOS

Installing Android APK's now from DJI. Maybe test it in the morning!

I have Litchi and is no beta for Mavic Air 2 .  I have checked right now and nothing !!!

Thanks John for testing and reporting back.  Maybe DJI will rethink making the RC indicator blue dot and the RC direction arrow a bit more visible and not be obstructed by the home point.  Shouldn't have to move to the side to deconflict these two.

MA2 SDK has indeed been released. Didn't you see my reply, #34, showing the Litichi Beta with Mavic Air 2 support as one of the new features?

I created a video showing the new Attitude indicator in use and why it's a poor replacement for RC antenna alignment assistance with the aircraft. Fortunately there is an alternative in maps.

Still not in android play store.

It's not a big deal to download the apk file from DJI and install it. Click on Download for Android or tap on Download Android APK.

It sucks because you can no longer tell if you are pointing the antenna at the aircraft!! Please fix!
