Hoping someone from DJI will actually take the time to respond:
What's the use of the combo kit case if it doesn't fit all the items that come in the combo kit?

Bought this for my daughter for xmas, and can't for the life of me understand why the hard shell case wasn't designed to also fit the tripod base that comes with the gimbal.

Quite agree when I received it a few months ago I made the same reflection. I put the tripod in the small pocket behind it's not very practical, but not the choice.
And a strap to carry it like a small bag would have been as useful.
But I think the designers of DJI had to be stuffed (too much baijiu 白酒 ) the day they designed it...
