Hello,

I have the DJI Phantom 4 Pro + which has the controller with the built in screen. I have updated the controller to the latest version available being v01.04.03 which was released 2020-06-11. However my DJI GO 4 application that is installed is stuck on v4.2.6(67-dpad). The latest version on Google Play and APK is v4.3.36. This is very much out of date. I am unable to install the latest APK as it fails saying App not installed (Restricted by DJI Firmware) and I have seen others with newer versions than mine on the same controller, so I know the update exists.

Can you please provide a way to update the GL300E controller to the latest version of the DJI Go 4 app?

Hallo DJI, I have the same problem, During Covid i didn't had chance to use the drone, couple of days ago when i tried to fly everything  is fine but the go fly button on the screen not working to enter to the. flight is working but cant access the DJI GO app is not working.I updated the new firmware for the Controller still the same. Even i did the backup/Reset on the controller still the same.
Please DJI give us the support.

Dji makes excellent devices, on the other hand, customer service leaves something to be desired ......

Like N.a.s.a ... never a straigh answer

Can you please tell me how you solved installing 01.04.03.00 on the GL300E? I cannot install this firmware on the controller. The quad was updated to the latest firmware 01.05.06 using the DJI Assist 2 for Phantom. My e mail ID is menon.madhav@gmail.com

No so far Nothing, its been few months we couldn't fly the drone. shame on DJI
based on this forum link https://my.hidrive.com/share/j78c0b0-3e#$/ i downloaded another prevouse version - DJl-v4.3.14.190309-8-35864.dpad.sec.apk.  this version is installable but still its not working.
When i rang DJI they ask me to install the new version https://www.dji.com/au/downloads/products/phantom-4-pro this one is not instalable and its not working its very frustrating.

Updating the app solves the problem
1) Download the apk file
2) Copy it to a micro SD memory in the root
3) In the control go to Settings> All Applications> Explorer> SD Card
4) Open the application and click on install
