I'm thinking of replacing the Vision+ camera with a GoPro 4.  Will the Zenmuse H4-3D gimbal fit the Vision Plus?  It says it's compatible with the Phantom 2.

No, it is not compatible. Phantom 2V+ and Phantom 2 center board are not the same.
