Still discovering the qualities of the Pocket2, I'm experimenting with the slow motion effects at 8x speed.
I've clipped this snippet out of about 1 minute of filming - which of course expanded to about 8 minutes real-time.

Hi. Season's greetings.  It was perched in the tree, preening. So I set up the Pocket 2 indoors on the window ledge, and set it running. Nothing much was happening, so I "encouraged" the bird to fly off
About a minute all told.

Very nice slo-mo with the P2.  I bet I can guess how you "encouraged" the bird to fly.  LOL.

Nice take. A shame that the Pocket 2 doesn't (optically) zoom...

It does have a (digital ) zoom and I would have liked to zoom in further, but still learning to drive it yet

I like slowmo videos.
You just need a lot of light because of the very fast shutterspeeds.

You're welcome.  Hand-clap was a more subtle way of getting the jackdaw to fly than what I was guessing on.

We don't have the same gun laws here that you do in the 'States   
But the hand-clap did sound like a pistol shot

It's a new dimension to our hobby, for sure.  The drawback of the Pocket2 is that the zoom function doesn't work in slo-mo. Maybe with the Osmo and a smartphone that could be overcome?
