I dont mean this in any rude way to DJI or anyone who is experiencing issues I simply have not flown for several weeks and am trying to educate myself on some recent issues people are having. I didnt have any problems with 1.1.8 and Ive heard that 1.1.9 is very stable. Is 1.1.9 the most recent formware that can be flown with confidence and contained the least amount of bugs? I started getting random disconnections with 1.1.9 and since the latest update I've left it in the box.

I wonder, perhaps the Canadian Phantom's were made special? ;-)

I agree with you 1.1.9 introduced a large amount of video lag for me that I couldn't really pin down as anything else.

Where can I find this illusive Phantom 3 Canadian edition

I have one It comes with some Vi-co and  a bunny hug , A Chester field for the back 40 . My Phantom 3 works great when I go for a rip  , No issues and I have not hit the rhubarb yet . Fingers crossed .. Don't visit the LBS before any flights ...

Lol this is gold

1.1.8 is perfect.  They should have left it alone.  I fly out 6000-7000 feet no problems with no lag video feed on p3p.  I just hope they dont force us to downgrade to their supposed upgrades.  I feel bad for all the people out there stuck with firmware that doesn't work right.  I remember someone a while back saying they were forced to change the firmware on their inspire 1 and that makes me nervous that they will eventually do that with the phantom 3.
