Hello All. On 18th of December 2020 I updated my phone DJI app (DJI Go 4 Since P4) and the next day I set out for a trip nearby. At the very first flight itself, right after hardly 1 minute of flying and distance of 137 meters, plenty of battery 91% with the complete Throttle 100% up, no obstacle uptill 500 meters in radius, no strong winds, no signal break, suddenly the drone started to recede down and landed in water right in front of our eyes and we could do nothing. I checked the recording in the app
I stood totally clueless why it went down while the throttle was completely in the upwards direction.

Can someone please help in finding out the reason of this ? I am uploading the flight log here.
Also is there a way I can get some replacement if i happen to find the drone back again or atleast some discount on purchase of a new drone ??

Hello there Anuroop. I am sorry to read and to know what happened to your DJI Spark. Since there was a crash that happened before and this unfortunate event happened I would recommend you to contact our DJI support team at https://www.dji.com/support?site=brandsite&from=nav for further assistance. We have a team that will do there best to check the said drone and will give out the best resolution for this issue. If the said drone is still under the warranty period and it is evaluated as a non-pilot error, the warranty service will be provided. Just a reminder that  DJI do not recommend doing a DIY in fixing the said DJI drone to avoid further damaging the said unit. Again I am sorry for the trouble and thank you for your understanding.

I didn’t find an error message, so I think the same thing happened to my Spark this summer.

The last RC inputs were 100% forward and 100% down!, so down and not up as your wrote.

Is it like your app is reading the other way ??
Because I throttled my RC 100% Backward and 100% Up.
The same reflects in my DJI app flight record as well.
See screen recording of the last 16 seconds of the flight.

RC is on Mode 2
Until 87% Up Throttle (left stick), the aircraft kept going upwards (gained 4 meters)
This time Right stick was 100% down (backwards) (see image below-)
From 10th second of the video, when Left stick was throttled to 100%, the aircraft instead of going more upwards, it started receding downwards (see screenshot).
Also notice the vertical speed 2.4 mtrs/s just before hitting the water surface.

Oops, do excuse me!   i had (normally not) the RC mode on 3 not 2.

So indeed UP for the last records.

See the corrected chart. As you see the vertical speed is UP too, wich is weird as your Spark is going down.
Upper line is red going down Unwanted.
