cool, but me and few other users can`t see 60fps i  4k video mode why?

I just updated to 1.2.2 and 01.02.0000 a moment ago and tested it a little bit (windy day) and it seems to work fine.

The artifact from the 4k video has dissapeard, you can do 2x digital zoom in photo mode (useful while flying, but don't use it to take the final picture), 60FPS mode on 2.7K... didn't test the 360 today, but I assume is also fixed.

The update is not in Google Play yet, so you have to download it from the dji site.

PS: I also fixed an storage issue in my Moto G8 smartphone that made some apps crash (Dji Fly midflight, included). I was using the SD card as internal storage and sometimes the app crashed when started to record video.  I reformatted the SD to external and no issues now.

ofcourse i mean 2.7k ;) sorted, i downloaded 1.2.2 for android from dji website and working fine. thanks

Downloaded and installed firmware for controller and Mini 2. Did a test ride on my driveway (It's night here and dark as can be).  Installed Fly 1.2.2.

Checked: Yes 4K 60fps not available, it is available on 2.7 (with Fly 1.2.2).  However if I look at the specs on the DJI.com site 60fps is only available on 1080.

It is, but you need to updade both the Fly app to 1.2.2 and the Mini 2 firmware.

ProjectionType="equirectangular" is still missing in the Metadata of the Panos, At this point I think DJI is just ignoring this small thing fix.

Just tested the panos and DNGs are just perfect now

You can do 178MP panoramas instead of the 8MP default panoramas that come from the DJi fly app

I have not flown my mini 2 outside the house because of rain, however I think this is a very nice upgrade, thanks DJI.

This is the second time I am thanking DJI in as many days.  First, they released a fantastic update to the DJI Fly App...and now this latest firmware update.  The orange/green line I had on all my 4k video (top left hand corner) has gone .  The addition of the zoom feature on photos was an unexpected but a delightful bonus.

That is strange, but I am really glad to know that it is fixed (I have cancelled my MM2 order because of that line).

I asked this in another thread as well, but I think this is a better place for my question: Has anyone noticed any cropping at 4K between the new "line fix" firmware and the older ones? Before I order again I want to make sure they have really fixed the problem and not just zoomed slightly in to crop the the line out...

haha, you gotta understand the entire world (and even the competitors) are going to read these release notes.  you can't just tell the world that you fixed an issue where an orange streak showed up in every single 4k video on every single drone on the market!  that really really sounds like you didn't even bother to test the test drone before launch. /s

honestly, i wouldn't have even wrote that, i would have fixed it in the sw and keep moving.

178mp? excuse me, I don't understand. The mini 2 takes 12 mp photos. In panorama they would be 3x12 = 36mp and in wide angle they would be 9x12 = 108mp
But that is something that could already be done before this new firmware, right? I am very interested in what you comment on Huginn. I would be very grateful if you explained to me. Well, I want to take panoramic photographs in maximum resolution.

which pano does only 3 images ?  AEB takes 3, but is no pano and doesn't give you 36MP either.
The Air 2 does something like that, shifting some pixels so it can interpolate a 12MP sensor to 36MP, but not a pano.

A normal pano = 7 images
A wide angle = 9 images

And a 360 produces 178 Megapixels (see link)

The 180º panorama is 3 photographs, not 6. And the wide angle, as I said, is 9.

Haven't updated to Fly app 1.2.2 yet, but firmware installed fine. One thing I noticed is that it is a hassle to be able to connect to assistant app to download the logs from the drone.

Once you connect it through USB, you cannot power the drone up. If you power it up and connect the usb cable, you have to be quick otherwise it disconnects.

The problem with the range has not been resolved

Is there any way to prevent the controller from charging the phone?

Today I went testing the new 2.7K 60fps. I was genuinely surprised by the great signal quality, because I stood not far from cellphone tower. I can not tell about range after the update, I flew only VLOS, 250m max, without interference or any other problems. Flight time 26 minutes, orange line on 4K is fixed.

BUT what I noticed is flickering in the color, especially on the grass. I am not sure if it was also visible on fpv, I noticed it on the bigger screen later.
Here is a video (in lowered quality due to its size) where you can see the grass color flickering on the clip starting at 0:50.Camera settings was 2.7K 60fps, EV -0.7 locked, white balance 5000K.

Panoramas: Capture a wider perspective with select pano modes.

    Sphere: DJI Mini 2 automatically captures twenty-five images and stitches them together for a crystal-clear image.
    180°: Captures eight photos for sweeping landscape images.
    Wide-Angle: Captures a wide 3×3 image consisting of nine images.

I mostly take 180 or wide-angle, and I have not have got a pano with only 3 images on it. I have no idea which pano gives you just 3 images. Well at least not on my Mini 2.

Can i downgrade?

I have Problems. Drifting and after a while the drone twitches.
On every Start i must now Calibrate. Sometimes when i Land and i must Calibrate.
With 1.00.700 no Problems.
Tested without Smartphone. Drone driftt and twitches. Error was not the DJI Fly App.

Yes i have everything calibrated what can be calibrated (RC, imu, compass, gimbal)

After updating to Fly 1.2.2, today I made three flights with my mini 2 up to 4.5km. Everything was ok, except for error 40011 which I fixed. In sport mode, I had max. 10m/s but it's probably because it was a bit windy today. Besides, I didn't notice anything wrong. No indicator at the bottom of the screen, a bit annoying. Well...

No you cannot downgrade the Mini 2. It is impossible.

Not having any issues with the newest firmware myself, but isn't it frustrating that DJI can't make new versions of its apps and firmware bug-free, and yet not allowing users to downgrade?????

I mean 360º, wich are 26 stills. When you stitch the 360 in PTGui you get a 170 MP aprox 360 panorama. Wide angle is also awesome, depending on the crop you get a 30-70MP image.

You could use the DNGs before, but that magenta square ruined the result a little bit.
