It was erected in the years 1498–1499. It is a segment of a circle with an internal diameter of 24.40 m, and the walls are over 3 m thick. It is a Gothic structure with seven turrets - round and hexagonal, arranged alternately in relation to each other. In the past, it was connected to the Florian Gate with a long neck and its main task was to protect it.
