Hi, I'm using Mavic Air 2 drone and always shooting into my SD card. Usually I'm going to Photos app and easily import video to my Photo library. They keep metada data, and everything looks easy. Now I almost have 1TB of files so I want to store them in external HDD. Can I just go to DCIM-100MEDIA and drag and drop files to my destination folder? Will all metadata and all important files remain? After that can I formad microSD? Because there are always strange files folders IDX,MISC, GIS containing THM, NSO and SCR files, can I delete them? BTW, my videos even imported directly to photos app doesnt show location (while pictures always show) is it normal? Thank you!

The meta data is stored in the files exif information so you can just copy them as you described.     Always format the SD card in the drone.    The SCR files are just image thumbnails which will be recreated as needed.
