My RTH accuracy on the currency firmware is insane.

Holding off updating as I don't have many issues with current version.

I have false Atti Mode issues so will be giving this a try hoping it will resolve my issue

I updated it and didn't notice a thing, the same as 01.02.0000.

Must be some minor fix.

I updated it too. (hoping it didn't put me in a worse position).
One thing I notice (may be its me)

When drone is running idle on ground with motors its propellors are spinning faster. Before it you start it on ground with help of sticks on controller it used to be very quiet but after update it has more omph to it. Also data transfer speeds have improved for me.

So far all good
Will do a flight test tomorrow
Let's hope the RTH accuracy stays the same

Is that after new update?

May be do the update again.

I haven't tested it outside. Just did some data transfer using the quick transfer and also just run the blades in idle where I saw the motors running faster than compared to last firmware (my gut feel).

Its not an issue but something I noticed

The only changes that I noticed, is that some of my settings changed (max distance, front led settings etc).
Too windy and cold to test outside today. Otherwise, no noticable changes on screen.

People are reporting that the controller pointer/ icon in the new radar is now not 90 degrees out.... I haven’t flown yet so can’t verify, plus I’ve never been able to see the little blue dot as the home point is always obscuring it.  

The DNG issue is solved!

Same here,

I've noticed that during indoor flight the drone seems more stable after this latest minor update.
Still getting the "atti mode" warnings but , to be fair , I'm indoors. Strangely I never got them before the update previous to this one?
I will go out flying tomorrow and see if there are any improvements.

Is anyone else not seeing the new FPS options in 2.7K video? I'm only seeing 24/25/30 options.

I don't see 50/60 fps in 2.7k video. DJI Fly up to date, firmware on MM2 and controller up to date, Samsung Note 10+ on Android 10. DJI lost control over software updates.

The App also needs to be upgraded to v1.2.2 to see the new 2.7k rates.

There's now new options for the function button in the Android version - Tap/Double-tap for Recenter Gimbal, Follow/FPV, Camera Settings, AE Lock/Unlock.

Yes but if you are on android then the latest djifly version of not available on app store (I think they have to approve it and it takes few days)

You have to force the update by downloading the APK from dji website and then you have the latest fly app.

Didn't notice noise increase. Had .000 firmware from Dec 28th today installed .001 update. Main deiffernce is it now has 4 options for single and double tap on fn button where before it only had one default. Will look for any other changes later. Note you must update RC firmware to see new changes. Android Play Store didn't have latest. Go to DJI direct to download latest. These are major fixes and upgrades.

Because, not every android phone, has a google play store... Google is a b*tch in these days, so lastest version is only on DJI website.

Yea. I don't think it's a good idea Google to control everything.  Аpp makers should have the latest versions on their own sites (as DJI did) and then on the play store.

Why would you wait?  It's not difficult to install and it will give you 2.5K 60 fps right away.  Doesn't make sense to cripple your Mini 2 for a longer time....

I've flown over 100 miles on it already.  NO issues.  At any rate, I would say not using the 60 fps capability because yo are afraid of "messing things up" is is the actually more  "messed up" in my opinion.  I mean, you have 60 fps capabilty but choose to cripple it....that's messed up.

I think it happens when your switching photo modes.
I just restart the fly app and it was all good, but it may scare the heck out of you.

Ok. I had that issue. What I did was to do a clean install of DJi Fly app. If you are over writing the previous app it could get glitchy. That's what I was finding.

I would take off my aircraft and after 10 secs it would disconnect and aircraft would hover in that position. I would have to reopen the app again and control the craft.

Since I did the clean install it has been flawless.

Always have crashed in some point. Dont know is this my phone is too old and not powerful enough for this app (Xiaomi Mi A1) but when i took about ~10 photos a row then live picture usually get stuck and nothing works and after ~30 seconds waiting app crashes and opens again...
Dont know is anyone else have such a issue or something...

Since I updated I don't see the aircraft orientation at all now. It makes me nervous to fly without it. i'm wonering if anyone else has experience this, or knows how I might fix it. I tried calibrating the compas, but that wasn't the problem. Thanks in advance.

Also can zoom camera in video or stills  hold function key down at rotate wheel that normally changes gimble up or down.

I did the update; the issues I encountered are below:
-Aircraft-      1.02.0100
-Controller- 2.00.1200
-App-            1.2.1

Critical:
-For the first time ever, my Mini 2 disconnected from my controller. I was line of sight, no obstructions and less than 300m (~900ft) from the Mini 2. My drone just hovered, over Lake Ontario; about 4 minutes later I was able to regain control and bring it home...scary.
-For the first time ever (and 2nd big issue in the same day), my app disconnected from the controller.

Annoying:
-The improved 2.5K video resolution is not available to me; max is still 30fps.
-I can't find an updated app (running Android) so am stuck at 1.2.1

Would appreciate feedback from DJI as there is potential to lose the drone.

You could use DJI Assistant to refresh your firmware...... oh wait it doesn’t work on the Mini 2!
