I have been using my Mavic 2 for 2 yers to shoot video and stills successfully, but in the past couple of weeks, following software updates, neither of the external camera or video buttons will work - buttons 17 & 21 in the manual.

The screen shutter button and screen camera selection button both work and the drone takes both still and video for download.

Suggestions for a speedy solution would be appreciated.

Hi, NickL. Thanks for reaching! We're sorry to read about the difficulties you're encountering. If you have not tried, we recommend to refresh or update the remote's firmware via the DJI Assistant 2 then test once again both the Shutter and Record button.
