Took mini 2 over water
There was a strong breeze so didn't push the battery too much (wind was medium to strong and temperature was 2 degrees) so allowed a wide safety margin.

Still decent run

Thoughts after flight

Signal strength is good
The pointer in the GPS is still 90 degrees and does not show the correct location when controllor is pointed towards the drone
Also got the tilt kick from gimbal when I hit "return to home" it was not in sports mode (you can see in video)

RTH accuracy is still impressive.

Over all its a safe update.

Was not directly over traffic I was using the zoom feature from the angle over the bay.

The controller pointing indicator only works if your phone has a compass built in, mine doesn't have it for example.

If your phone has a compass it should work.

I am using Samsung s10
So I guess it should work. (it does work its just not pointing correctly to where you are pointing)

The old pointer used to work for me which used to be in middle bottom of the screen. (I guess they using the same data just displaying it differently) so may be coding needs to be adjusted. (lets see if that gets fixed)

So far very happy with the update.

I don't know why the changed the speed of the blades running at idle on ground. It made sense to keep them running at low speed to use less battery.

Also today I was impressed by the footage when pointing the camera directly at sunlight. No overblown video. Infact it was asweome.

Don't know if that's adjusted in firmware. It does not say in the changes log.

Sorry changed it so should be fine now.
It turns the comments off for some reason.

Actually I’m using a note 9 and at times note 10 both have a compass...The indicator is not correct

I agree, he has no respect for VLOS. He needs to visit the CAA drone website before he gets a visit from you know.
