Thought of it last time it snowed, but did not get out in time. Almost did not get out in time this time. Was hoping those big snowflakes would still be falling.

It was pretty fun to shoot, though I intended to go out into the rocks and falls. The flood water from the days of rain we had prevented that.

News reports say we got dumped on, but there was just a little slushy stuff. Not even hard to drive through.

Actually, it wasn't uncomfortable to shoot. I cheated and wore a coat and my warm snow boots. I was only a couple minutes bare sided, and without wind, that wasn't cold. For the signature trail, I parked the warm car next to some fresh, unmarked snow, left my boots inside and quick made the trail. But then, I didn't want to put socks and boots back on wet feet, so I just grabbed the camera and shot a couple clips of the tracks.

Noticed and shot the two field scenes on the way home and did not bother to put boots back on for that.

Figured I HAD to do something. Strange that I didn't think to take the camera with when I made the barefoot trail.

I wondered while watching if you were wearing shoes!  BRR!!  Nice touch with the footprints - very nice footage.  An enjoyable winter watch.

hahaha... goodness!  I felt very cold anyway..  today here we are at 2ºC maximum
