Such lovely weather was not to be wasted today, and so the Mavic Mini came with me for the first excursion of the year.
Helicopter activity over our valley precluded any flying there, so we went into the next valley and up the hill on the far side.

The complications for getting back to France next week are horrendous.  Too much to outline here.

I saw on the news that you have to have a green card to prove your a resident and a negative PCR test and then border control dont know the process so they are turning people away that are legal to travel.   As we are probably going back to full lock down you might be best just to stay longer.

Hi. Thank you   No, Hadrian's Wall is much further north than this - about 200Kms.  Across much of the British Isles, stone walls are very common boundaries to farmers' land.  This one is slightly unusual, I feel. The are two wall in parallel only the width apart of little more than a farm truck. They run like that for only 100 metres or so, and nowadays enclose a public pathway.
