i have Updated to firmware 1.10.00.40 , 2 Weeks ago and it was flawless all the update functions were working now i turn on the camera i find the Set language & Date & Time i Saw it a said oh this is weird then pressed the QS button and it does not switch screens you need to hold it down to do so and no Tem threshold menu Its like it Went and Downgraded it self!
keep in mind i Checked the firmware and it says I'm on 1.10.00.40
tried to factory reset the issue didnt get resolved
the screen has LAG on Rocksteady whaaaat i think it reset it self to Firmware 1.05 or something what should i do ?!

Hi, Hamza.f. Thanks for reaching out and sorry to read about the difficulties you're encountering. Regarding the QS button, please check whether you're recording. The latest firmware requires you now to press and hold the QS button to switch screens during recording. We recommend that you upload a short clip for the other issues you're encountering and include also an image of your Osmo Action's current firmware version. Looking forward to your response.

To me the date will appear when the firmware was changed by Rollback or updating. the date should not have changed from FW 1.9 to fw 1.10 but from FW 1.10 to fw* Could you work on getting the answer than passing it to  the developer.  We are not walking into a Building to the Guard that simply says move along

Unfortunately I have the exact same problem. Updated my FW to the latest and was flawless. Turned the camera back on after a while and saw the set date which was weird. Now the QS button doesn't switch with 1 click so I need to hold it down when not recording. The lag is also back. But when I checkes thw FW version, it's on the latest! Help!!

Best solution for us to do is refresh firmware.   I really need to  make another tutorial and post here.    get the older firmware and debug  txt file.  Knowing  you need basic pc skills . you can write a post, you can make a file really that simple trust me.

  you be back to a normal camera in no time

Can you tell how to refresh the firmware, I have the same issue ?

I'm not sure about the Osmo Action though

if you can not follow along, suggest look for the other videos, it may complicate you.

I disconnected OA from my PC USB, and now my firmware went back from 01.09.00.10 (7211) to (6436)
Ilso it ask for a time/date when power on.

Why? How to prevent this in the future??

I can update with the file on the sdcard, but do i really have to update every time when it downgrade itself?? (around once per month..)

i downloaded offical latest firmware bin file to the root of sd card and power on the cam.
it upgraded fine

Okay there are three members in here: and a person got no clue just popping in.   

if you have the latest firmware on fw 1.10... and reverting back to fw 1.09 by itself question  you simply place in Only FW 1.10 manually or use the smartphone?.

Load fw99 with debug file, then load  fw 1.10 only (no need for a debug when updating to a higher fw)
laod fw 1.10 back in you need the debug file otherwise it fails

2. If i upgrade with smartphone it wont downgrade itself? Never?

Sorry but  did you Downloaded FW 99 and get it on? and did it resolve your  issue, if not than by all means get with DJI repair.
