Hello there jonny007. Thank you for reaching out and for posting this video you have came upon here at DJI Forum. Just a reminder that DJI do not recommend you to modify your DJI drone or any of its components. There is a possibility that these modification will work however, since it's not tested by DJI we cannot guaranteed the reliability of the said modification when in use and if it will work all the time with no issues and can void the warranty of the said DJI product. Get the Japanese batteries!

That's a lot of work for minimal weight drop.  Easier and safer, warranty wise, to just buy a Japanese battery.  

Might improve the signal if you shave around the antennas ;) /s
