A lovely afternoon for a walk upstream from home, with the P2 in hand.
The river Sett is much calmer at this point, a kilometer or so upstream from Torrs Hydro where it joins the Goyt river.

It was!  Today's walk took in the moors above the village - very muddy!  Fresh breezes on the top but scattered sunshine to enhance the view. Pics to follow.

Didn't see a soul once out of the village. Just a farmyard dog keeping an eye on me at one point.

We're booked on the ferry for Thursday of next week, but have to take a Covid test before we can embark.

I don't have a problem with dogs, as a rule. If they sense you're not scared of them they tend to leave you alone.
